Found my new race fuel
Recently switched from SiS to Maurten, mainly because the taste of SiS products are waaay too strong/sweet. SiS adds aspertame to make it taste even sweeter; don’t know why. Maurten gels have a jello like texture, so it goes down easy and fast without covering your teeth and inside of your mouth long after, like traditional gels. No colouring and subtle taste, and easy on the stomach. I use in combination with Maureen drink mix, gel 160 and solid 160.

A near perfect gel
No flavor, easy to swallow and all the good stuff to keep you going on a long effort. Only downside is the price.
Got these in several flavors and have tried the Lemon Lime so far. Really nice texture, a true gel that goes down easily without much water needed and does not feel sticky. Package was easy to open as well. No upset stomach with these gels.
I started using SIS Beta on the recommendation from my coach. It was a great call. Super easy on my stomach, not too sweet, easy to get down. They powered me through a 100k in the desert, when nothing else was working. Highly recommend.
SIS products deliver on their marketing providing quick acting, lasting energy, without the stomach issues that I get from gummies or some bars. I now carry a packet on all my rides or runs regardless of distance.

Really good and not like the rest
I have been really enjoying the Muir Energy gels. The flavour is great. The simple ingredient list is awesome. I like that they are different from most gels on the market. Instead of being only carbs it also contains some protein which I find works well for me, especially for longer runs.
