As my partner always says, energy bars taste 'healthy' and no branding can get past that, even as it includes the word 'brownie.' But to my surprise, these are quite taste for 'healthy', AND--big bonus for those of us with nut allergies--contains pumpkin but no nuts. A pleasant surprise, all around!

Really good and not like the rest
I have been really enjoying the Muir Energy gels. The flavour is great. The simple ingredient list is awesome. I like that they are different from most gels on the market. Instead of being only carbs it also contains some protein which I find works well for me, especially for longer runs.

not too thick or sweet!
I was unsure about not having flavored gels which I'm used to, but I really liked these. definitely have some sweetness to them but I did not find them overpowering and I love the consistency! they went down easy and my stomach approved!
